Orthopedic company and physicians agree to settlement

FROM STAFF REPORTS Nine Southwest Orthopaedic specialists have agreed to pay $670,000 to settle civil claims stemming from allegations they submitted false claims to Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare.
Acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma Robert J. Troester and Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter announced Friday the nine doctors listed as defendants in the settlement are Anthony Cruse, R.J. Langerman Jr., Daniel Jones, Mehdi Adham, Derek West, Brian Levings, Shane Hume, Brad Reddick and Kristopher Avant.
