    NAPERVILLE, Ill. - First responders rescued an 11-year-old boy who fell through an icy suburban Chicago retention pond.
    Naperville fire and police responded Sunday afternoon after receiving a 911 call reporting that a child had fallen through the ice at a pond near an apartment complex. Officials say the boy was able to communicate with rescue workers and told them his feet were stuck in the muddy bottom of the pond.
