    By KAREN GUREGIAN CHICAGO - For Josh Gordon, the improvement is coming with each game, and so is that all-important connection with Tom Brady. During the 38-31 win over the Bears, Gordon had his first 100-yard game as a Patriot. His contribution was important given the Patriots were without Rob Gronkowski, who didn't make the trip to Soldier Field given back trouble. They also lost Sony Michel during the game.

    CHICAGO - Tom Brady threw for three touchdowns and the New England Patriots hung on to beat the Chicago Bears 38-31 Sunday when Kevin White got stopped at the 1 on a 54-yard pass from Mitchell Trubisky. About four or five defenders swarmed White after he leaped to haul in that long heave and spun toward the goal line. Some Bears players tried to push him across. But he got stopped just short of the goal line, preserving the fourth straight win for New England.

    CHICAGO - Tom Brady threw for three touchdowns and the New England Patriots hung on to beat the Chicago Bears 38-31 Sunday when Kevin White got stopped at the 1 on a 54-yard pass from Mitchell Trubisky.
    About four or five defenders swarmed White after he leaped to haul in that long heave, preventing him from crossing the goal line while preserving the fourth straight win for New England.
    The Patriots (5-2) also got two special teams touchdowns and came out on top even though they were missing Rob Gronkowski.
