• Saratoga's Universal Preservation Hall makes final push for funds

    SARATOGA SPRINGS - Universal Preservation Hall needs another $300,000 to top off its $5.5 million campaign and complete restoration of the future arts venue by the spring of 2020.
    Speaking on the stone steps of the historic building on Washington Avenue, Campaign Director Teddy Foster said construction has finally begun on the crumbling Methodist church hall. But to transform it into a "remarkable gathering space for the Capital Region and beyond," UPH is asking for a bit more cash.
