NATURE Lab to help transform Troy's North Central neighborhood

TROY - The NATURE Lab is a year away from opening in a revitalized building that will continue a mission to bring art, science and media together to help transform North Central, the city's poorest neighborhood by awakening environmental awareness.
The Sanctuary for Independent Media has operated NATURE Lab programs since 2013 using small quarters in a multi-use building at 3334 Sixth Ave. The lab will relocate across the street to 3319 Sixth Ave. in an abandoned building purchased for $7,500 from the Troy Community Land Bank.
