OTTAWA - On the heels of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's trip to China Thursday, an all-party group was urging the government to step up its interventions for political prisoners in human rights-abusing countries.
Lawyer and former Liberal member of parliament Irwin Cotler convened the group on the fourth anniversary of former South African leader Nelson Mandela's death.
